Zimmer waren sauber und mit Klimaanlage. Personal super freundlich und Frühstück voll okay.

Lage Ok. Metro in 10 Minuten. Bus auch erreichbar.

Very awkward vibes. People staying here are not tourists, looks like permanent or long stay which make the vibes so weird. A guy stay in the room who always control the A/C Remote Control is very strict with operating time and temperature. There was a tourist came and stay only one night and he decided to leave. We agreed the same, the vibes is weird.
Very hot in the room during the daytime which there is no A/C or fans both in bedroom and bathroom.

Hacia mucho calor en la habitación, el aire acondicionado esta apagado durante el dia, los baños sucios y anticuados, hay una persona que controla y domina el control del aire acondicionado, durante el día no se puede estar dentro de la habitación debido al calor

Un muy buena hostal, las habitaciones tenían aire acondicionado y la hostal tiene una cocina y una nevera, entonces puedes guardar tus alimentos para los días que estés. El lugar es muy bueno, no le pongo 5 estrellas porque está en la ciudad y pasan autos hay el sonido de las máquinas de los diferentes edificios a su alrededor, no es un lugar tan silencioso, pero creo que está cerca de paradas de bus y de metro, entonces tiene buena conexión con el transporte.
Muy buen lugar para quedarse.

La habitación es muy sencilla amplia y acomoda, tiene aire acondicionado, tv y baño privado. El personal que atiende es muy formal. El lugar ofrece lavandería, cocina compartida, wifi y restaurante bar en el primer piso. Está en uno de los mejores puntos de la ciudad barrio "Bella Vista", se puede caminar por los alrededores e incluso a 2 cuadras de la cinta costera. Tienes dónde comer en la misma cuadra y de todos los presupuestos (excepto los domingos que la mayoría abren tarde o no abren). Es super central para pagar menos en transporte por InDrive e ir a los lugares turísticos y cerca al metro de la estación "Iglesia del Carmen"

This is an excellent hostel in the heart of Bella Vista, and one block from the Pacific Ocean and the Cinta Costera jogging and cycling path.

The owner is a kind Italian man who speaks English, Spanish, and Italian.

Due to a national holiday, the restaurant was closed the night I stayed at the hostel. I did have lunch there the next morning and it was great, they also gave me a discount because I stayed at the hostel. It was not a big issue for me but the hot water in my room was not working.

I like the beds, very comfortable with electrical outlets nearby to charge devices. I like the room lighting there were two types one a darker lighting and the other brighter. There was plenty of space in the room. The bathroom had soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The location was decent for getting to the coast. The cost was a bit higher, but that was ok, both my roommates said they booked the room to get a more comfortable bed and good nights sleep before their flights in the morning. I enjoy speaking with the staff in the hostel and restaurant.

I think at one time the Panama Hat Hostel was a fun, kind of funky place to stay. Not so much now. Our room with a three piece ensuite was spacious and clean with a wardrobe, two easy chairs and table. The hostel kitchen, located in a covered area in the back yard, has an apartment size fridge, one pot, one table knife, and a couple of glasses. No utensils needed to prepare a meal let alone the utensils or dishes needed to enjoy a meal. The back yard we were told had a pool that was filled in, hence all the dirt. Also there is an empty broken hot tub in a raised wooded deck with a chair and umbrella table. The graphics on the walls surrounding the back yard are spectacular, too bad they can not be enjoyed. The, down the street, grocery store is terribly over priced. A ten / fifteen minute walk to a huge store, Riba Smith, has a great selection. Some of the staff were helpful (especially the young woman who was on the afternoon shift), the smallish complimentary breakfast was fresh and the hostel was clean. Rebranded as a hotel / B&B would be more appropriate based on the services provided.
