The chalet is in a great location, about a hundred meters from the lift. Overall it was in good condition although the beds weren’t that comfortable and the fireplace was not working, which we were only told about when we arrived. We were also not told until we arrived that the sauna was only available at certain, very limited times - times when most of us were still out skiing or when we getting ready for and having dinner. This meant it was largely unusable, which was disappointing. ||Housekeeping was also very poor, there was no cleaning of the rooms and the rubbish bins were not emptied, leaving them overflowing. When we were asked to leave our towels out midweek to be cleaned, they returned fewer towels and refused to give us any more. This meant some people had to go without and double up bath towels/hand towels/bath mats. There were also no extra towels for the sauna. ||The main problem was the hosts though, who were very rude and unwelcoming. There was no welcome drink and no afternoon tea, despite being advertised, and when we mentioned this in a complaint afterwards they lied and said they had provided it. The standard of the food was very low and on more than one occasion there was no gluten free option for our celiac friend or they forgot to cook hers until asked about, which meant she was served as everyone else had already finished. This was something else they lied about in response to our complaint. ||We were told quiet hours were from 23:00 but on one of the first nights they came to ask us to be quiet at 22:30. We were only sitting around in the communal living space talking and playing games, no loud music or excessively loud noise. Some of the group went to bed earlier and were able to sleep with no problems. In response to our complaint they made very rude, aggressive and untrue assertions about our ‘behaviour’. They claimed they called the police about us but were unable to provide any evidence of this. More lies I assume. ||We were led to believe we were renting the entire chalet but the owner and hosts lived on the lower floor, which is why they were complaining about the ‘noise’ and refused to have the sauna on in the morning or evening (it was also on the lower floor). There were also several other people in the space at various times throughout the week, with no explanation, which felt unsafe as the rooms didn’t lock so there was nowhere to secure valuables. ||I’m not happy to have paid so much for somewhere that I needed to share a towel, the food was such low quality, I was told off like a child for having a conversion at 22:30 and some of the amenities we paid for were not available, with no warning or concession. ||It was a shame that their rude and unwelcoming attitude spoiled our experience and their delusional and aggressive response to our complaint about the issues we had was shockingly unpleasant.

Falsely advertised and then no accountability from the hosts or the chalet company Skichalets.nl which we will not be using again. ||The falsely advertised... Where do i start?! Advertised as a whole chalet. On arrival we're told that there are people who live underneath and that there is a noise curfew which was news to everyone. When playing a card game before the curfew we had a complaint. When it was noted that we had rented the whole chalet, the host said you have, the ground upwards, which clearly isn't the whole chalet. We also seemed to have their friends or friends of the person who lived downstairs come through communal spaces multiple times so then had to treat it like it was not private and not leave things out just in case.||Food was worse than your school lunches / dinners, mains looked like slop on a plate and some of our group had to go get their own food after dinner. I hope your group doesn't have any food allergies too, these are just forgotten about or then you have to wait 30 minutes for them to cook you a GF option. Also if you're a vegetarian, i hope you like veggie burgers as you'll get that for a week as your protein substitute.||Other items paid for welcome bubbles which weren't there, afternoon tea which was provided for once only after we had complained to the hosts. They said they had put it out every day despite there being at least one person in out of our group each day. Fireplace not working, items in rooms not working and or cleaned before we moved in. Refusal to issue more towels too for some reason.||The sauna was only on for restricted hours again not advertised.||Please note, this list is not exhaustive...! All of this was made worse for the fact they refused to acknowledge any of the above which only made our experience worse. They undoubtedly lied about the various items raised in response and when proof was requested, none was provided.||As a big group, we've never had a complaint in the many years of going and this was the first time we've clashed with our Hosts because of the above. Hopefully you get different hosts from Pimm and Thea as they completely ruined our experience. ||On a positive note, it is very close to the lifts and ski rental shop and has a kebab / pizza shop in case you can't eat the food provided.

We were hosted by 2 competent young men - Seb and Toby who had never ending smiles! They looked after the chalet well and cooked a variety of meals. They were not supported by their company with recipes or foods for gluten free or vegan meals despite paying extra. But the boys managed and tried hard with smiles and natural talent. The accommodation was nice and hard a good location for one of the main ski lifts Super holiday

Excellent base for Arlberg ski area. Less than 100m from the Nasserein gondola with a couple of ski hire places at the base of it. Chalet staff were polite and helpful and did an excellent job of providing morning and evening meals inc. a fresh cake every afternoon for the return from skiing. Accommodation was basic but clean and plenty of seating for everyone in the living room (we were a party of 14). One downside is the entrance smells of smoke at times due to the owners running a taxi business from there, but this gave no disruption to the holiday. Would have been good to have a fridge in the communal area, or access to one. The party stopping after us arrived before we left and they didn't look very pleased we were still there, but we were there first!! 🙂

Falsely advertised and will not be using the chalet company Skichalets.nl again.

They said they had put it out every day despite there being at least one person of our group there each day. Fireplace not working, items in rooms not working and or cleaned professionally before we moved in. Oddly also refusal to issue more towels too for some reason even after complaints.

The sauna was only on for restricted hours again not advertised and turned off post dinner.

Please note, this list is not exhaustive...! All of this was made worse for the fact they refused to acknowledge any of the above which only made our experience worse. They undoubtedly lied about the various items raised in response and when proof was requested, none was provided.

It’s probably telling that they stated in the welcome notes they would pay for a good review, yet there have been little of them. They also only started to take some accountability for which there was previously none, once a bad review had been written. Customer service was poor post booking.

As a big group of close friends (16 of us!) we've never had a complaint in the many years of going and this was the first time we've clashed with our Hosts because of the above. Hopefully you get different hosts from Pimm and Thea as they completely ruined our experience.

On a positive note, it is very close to the lifts and ski rental shop and has a kebab / pizza shop in case you can't eat the food provided.
