Dr. Barker is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Utah. I broke my fibula in two places, and my medial malleolus came out of my ankle. He explained everything he was going to do to fix my leg and that it was going to be two different surgeries for him to get me back to 100% mobility. He did a phenomenal job on fixing my leg. I'm very happy he was the doctor on call when they wheeled me in to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
I've referred my friends to Dr. Barker, who need a good Surgeon.

This was the worse experience I’ve had going to a doctor. The appointment was for 9:00 am and we walked out at 10:30 having not seen this wonderful doctor?
Overbooking seems to have been their problem with not getting any assistance from Eva, at the front desk. We drove there from Heber City and we told that our wait would be 1/2 hour when we arrived.
I am a doctor from out of town and was there with my son who is an attorney. We are also busy professionals that felt like Our time was disrespected. Think about clearing your schedule before you make an appointment here.

In April 2022, I was struck by a truck while riding my bike through a crosswalk. It was a training ride for the triathlon I was supposed to do a few weeks later. Instead, I ended up with a tibial plateau fracture and needed surgery. Dr. Barker was recommended to me and I’m so grateful that he was the one to perform my surgery. It was a long recovery, sometimes painful, and difficult emotionally to handle. But Dr. Barker and Josh, his amazing PA, were with me every step of the way. I hope I never forget the joy that I felt a few months later, when Dr. Barker told me that I could try walking again right there in his office! I was able to start biking again, hiking again, swimming again, and even rollerskating again. Fast forward a year later and I just completed my first triathlon with my daughter! So grateful that my leg has healed, and Dr. Barker and his team were a big part of that. 10/10 would recommend! ?

Dr Barker is truly a phenomenal doctor. When speaking to members of the staff all of them held such respect for him and his PA, often referring to them as the premier trauma surgeons in the valley. And they more than justified having such a reputation.

Barker is a good surgeon his bedside manner was fine, but his PA customer service is was pretty terrible. You see him maybe once before your surgery then your pushed off on someone else. It’s impossible to reach him, and all the options aren’t presented prior to surgery. This was something I found out after my surgery.. honestly I get that this is a business for them, but it’s alot of stress to the patient and when your treated like a number knowing what your paying it’s frustrating. I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending them if you’re looking for more personalized care, service, and understanding. Someone you can get a hold of when needed. I didn’t expect an immediate reply but would often not get any reply, and have to keep following up . Or be out with a PA that I didn’t mesh with, even when I said I’d like to see someone else. Again he did fine, but if I had to go back I would have took more time to look around and choose elsewhere.

Every since the Jackson's have left and retired, I needed to find another great dr to help me in my situation.
I was injured and it was very complicated.
Dr Barker has the knowledge and experience to have fixed my knee. I know it is going to take some time to heal and go through pt, but I know with him on my team, this will be a great difference. He took the time to explain everything before hand.and was really great with me after the surgery to explain with what he did!
I highly recommend Dr Jordan Barker and his great staff

Dr. Barker and his team are incredible.
Not only is Dr Barker a genius of a surgeon but he is genuinely a great guy with excellent bed side manner and the kind of humble confidence that you want from someone operating on you.
I went in with a major fracture (tibial plateau) and 6 months later I’m walking, back on my bike and recovering well.
His office staff as well as his PA are very professional and great to work with.

Dr Barker and his team literally worked a miracle putting my arm back together after a mountain bike accident. He was very good at explaining the challenges ahead of me in the beginning, and the potential outcome. Post surgery, he spent a long time reviewing the surgery and creating a plan of recovery. I would highly recommend him and as much as I plan to continue going to him, I hope I don't have to see him again for a very long time ?
