Nice hotel close to the bay and walking distance to the Paceville. They upgraded us to a junior suite. The building looks old and a bit congested from outside but the rooms are beautiful and spacious. Only downside is that the entrance and exit is through the restaurant, and apparently the restaurant is know for its Georgian cuisine and is always packed with customers. Walking through a busy restaurant now and then was a bit embarrassing for us but otherwise this is a great place to stay. Full score for the breakfast and the staff.

The hotel is located in a good spot, there are bus stops for several lines, as well as many restaurants and shops. Considering this and the fact that it is located near a district known for its nightlife, there is a high probability that you will often hear noise, but not to the extent that it would disturb you. The hotel is new, clean, well equipped and modernly decorated. The rooms are entered using a coder, which can be an advantage, but at the same time a disadvantage in the event of a power outage, which just happened during my stay. The room is equipped with accessories for preparing hot drinks. However, there are a few things that they can/must change. The reception is open only 8 hours a day, contact with the reception is made by using a mobile phone. This is not always practical, and the reception physically does not exist, considering that it consists of a single desk in the restaurant located on the ground floor of the hotel, which is also the only entrance to the building. I have the impression that the restaurant is the priority in the building, not the hotel. During check-in, we did not receive any instructions or clarifications regarding anything linked to the hotel, but we were only asked to present documents and pay. Breakfast is served only between 09:00 and 10:30 and the choice is very limited and the quality should also be much better. Only a few options to choose from a la carte menu do not match the hotel category it represents. Only one shower bath per day (27ml) per two people is available in the room. In general, I think there is a lot of space for improvements in order for the hotel to justify the price.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights in August and we had the most wonderful stay. The location is perfect; as a young couple, we wanted to be close enough to the nightlife of St Julian's but far enough away so not to be disturbed. 123 Boutique Hotel overlooks a scenic bay which is surrounded by fantastic restaurants (we highly recommend Lore and Fitch for a steak night). The room was beautiful, very modern with a nice balcony and the bed was SO comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, it's only a very small menu but the standard of food is superb, as is the Italian coffee! Most importantly, the staff were first rate and they couldn't do enough for you. There is an ATM machine at the bottom of the road (be careful in Malta when loading up your cards, as most machines accept Visa only) making Monzo / Starling benefits obsolete. Please support this local Boutique as its better than any hotel chain.

I'm so pleased I discovered this lovely centrally located boutique hotel. Its close to everything. My room was lovely, so clean, spacious, with a great eye to detail with everything+ my balcony had a view of the beautiful Spinola bay.... the room rate is so very affordable in price. With the restaurant downstairs for breakfast. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.. thankyou !

Me and my patner stayed for a week earlier this month. We received a warm welcome and were really impressed with the room and facilities. Breakfast each morning was delicious with plenty of options and friendly service. ||It was a great location for exploring places in the island. When back in Malta we would stay here again without hesitation.

The location is very good, close to the bus station (2 min walk), supermarkets and restaurant. The room was cleaned daily and the towels changed upon request. We really appreciated the attention to detail that was visible throught the room (wardrobe lighting, sliding shelves for glasses/cups, bathrobes, adapter plug etc.). If this wasn’t enough, it’s also good value for money 🙂
